Manatee County Area Transit (MCAT), a service of Manatee County Government, offers ten routes serving Bradenton, Ellenton, Palmetto and the Gulf Beach communities of Manatee County. Buses run hourly 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday – Saturday. No service is offered Sundays or the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (after 3 p.m.) and Christmas Day. The fare is $1.25, transfers $.25 each — exact fare; U.S. coins and currency only or M Card transit pass. Discount fares are available for those who qualify
